By using this website you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out. If you do not agree to be bound by these terms and conditions, we politely request that you cease use of the site immediately

Purchasing From Us
By using our website and purchasing from us, you declare that you are 18 years of age or over. If you are not 18 years of age or older, we must declare that we are unable to sell a product to you. If you experience any difficulties please contact us and we will do our best to help you.
All pricing displayed on the site is in UK Pounds Sterling (£) and are inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT). Prices shown are for delivery only to specified UK destinations. While we endeavour to keep prices accurate, we may be unable to supply the product(s) at the price shown due to unforeseen circumstances. We reserve the right to change prices without prior notice at any time. In this circumstance we will contact you and you will have the opportunity to modify or cancel your order. Please be aware that Nordiccare.co.uk reserves the right to refuse bulk orders.
VAT Exemption. By default Value Added Tax is charged at 20%
If you are a Registered Charity or Disabled person you may qualify for Value Added Tax Exemption.
To qualify for this exemption, you must be, or are purchasing for, a Registered Disabled or Chronically Sick Person domicile within the United Kingdom, or: A Registered Charity in the United Kingdom.
It does NOT include a frail elderly person who is otherwise able-bodied or any person who is only temporarily disabled or incapacitated, such as with a broken limb.
If you are in any doubt as to whether you are eligible to receive goods or services zero-rated for VAT you should consult notice 701/7 VAT relief’s for disabled people or Tel. 0300 123 1073 before signing the declaration.
If you do qualify, we are able to supply you with our products exempt from VAT by you completing a VAT exemption form during the checkout process.
If you do not complete the VAT exemption form, or you are not eligible for VAT relief, we are obliged to charge you the full prevailing VAT on the whole of your order.
We regret that VAT cannot be credited at a later date if the required VAT exemption declaration is not received at time of ordering.
Acceptance of Your Order.
We will notify you by email as soon as possible to acknowledge that we have received and are processing your order. Please note that completion of the online checkout process does not constitute our acceptance of your offer to purchase products from us. Our acceptance of your order and hence a contract between us will take place only when we dispatch the product(s) that you ordered.
If you experience any difficulties or make a mistake in your order and cannot correct it in the shopping basket, please contact us by phone or email and we will make sure everything is put right for you.
Payment must be made at time of ordering. We accept payment by most major UK-issued debit and credit cards which are processed via Secure//Trading payment gateway encrypting all your credit and debit card data for your security and peace of mind.
Availability of Products
Products contained on this website are offered subject to availability. All stock indicators on the site are approximate and are not necessarily an accurate indication of our stock levels.
We will inform you as soon as possible by telephone or email if the product(s) or service(s) you have ordered are not available and make every effort to supply the item as soon as possible. We reserve the right to offer substitute goods of a similar specification and quality.
Nordic Care Services Ltd, its owner, agents and employees, accept no responsibility for losses suffered as a result of unavailability of a product.
We have taken reasonable precautions to try to ensure that prices quoted on the Website are correct and that all products have been fairly described. However, when ordering products through the Website, please note that:
Orders will only be accepted if there are no material errors in the description of the product(s) or services or their prices as advertised on this Website.
Packaging may vary from that shown on the Website. We try to display the colour of our products accurately on the Website, the actual colour you see will depend on your monitor and we cannot guarantee that your monitor’s display of any colour will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery.
Cancellation – Consumer (Non Business)
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 (“CCR”) you have a right to cancel all or part of your contract at any time up to 14 days after the day on which you receive the goods, without giving any reason.
Your right to cancel within the cancellation period must be made using a clear statement of your decision to cancel the contract either by;
e-mail to firstname.lastname@example.org or by letter. Telephone calls are not accepted.
Cancellation is deemed to have been conveyed when the email or letter is sent. Nordic Care ask that you keep a receipt of postage of your cancellation notice or a email confirmation of sending your cancellation notice.
You will lose your right to cancel or return the goods where you fail to cancel the contract within the appropriate time-scale as stated above, or where you fail to return the product(s) within the appropriate timescale following legitimate cancellation.
Items that Cannot be Cancelled or Returned
Unfortunately some products are excluded from this cancellation policy for hygiene reasons (items that lose their entire value when opened due to the risk of contamination), these include but are not limited to,
- Sealed goods that are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons, if unsealed after delivery: toileting related, incontinence related, sheets and bath or shower related products.
- Any “used “product that represent a hygiene risk; toileting and incontinence products, sheets and bath or shower related products.
Also excluded from our exchange and refund policy.
- Items that are collected by you in person, or your representative, from our premises
- Items where our product description says, “Special order”
Postage & packaging Charges (including vat)
Four postage and packaging bands apply to goods sold through Nordiccare.co.uk;
Small – £3.60 Medium – £5.50 Large – £7.50 Extra Large – £12.00
If you order multiple items you will only incur a single delivery cost.
Delivery will take place via Royal Mail, courier or the postal method deemed most suitable for the weight, size and nature of the product. Delivery will take place as soon as is practical to the UK address specified in your order.
Please note: Some postal addresses in Northern Ireland, offshore islands and some remote areas of Great Britain are not covered by our Delivery Cost. We may be able to arrange delivery to such areas at an additional postage cost. Please contact us for details.
Under normal circumstances orders received before 2pm, Monday – Friday, will be processed the same day.
Orders will be generally be despatched between 1 – 7 business days. All risk in the products(s) you order (including risk of loss and/or damage to the goods) shall pass to you when they are delivered to the delivery address specified in your order.
Nordic Care reserves the right to cancel an order where; the products(s) are unavailable, where there has been a product, description, price or other information error, or for any other reason that we deem necessary and/or appropriate in the circumstances.
Notice of damage, defect, non delivery.
You should check all products you receive against your order. If the products you receive are damaged or incorrectly supplied on delivery then you must inform us (by phone or email) within 3 days of your delivery. Where a courier wants you to sign for damaged goods, please write a note that they are damaged or “Awaiting inspection”.
Please include your order number, delivery note number, contact details and product details on any correspondence or in any communication.
We reserve the right to inspect any product reported as faulty before refund or replacement. We will arrange collection of the item or, we will ask you to provide the product details (serial No if applicable) and supply images for the purpose of confirming any fault.
The company will not be liable for any defect in the product(s) arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence or use other than that intended.
Refunds cannot be processed if the fault has been caused, created or is a result of misuse.
In the event of a parcel going missing, we will not dispatch a replacement item, or offer a full refund until a claim has been accepted and processed by Royal Mail or courier. This process usually takes 21 days, but may be longer.
In the event of damage or breakage, Nordic Care Services may ask you to provide product details and supply images for the purpose of making a claim.
Nordic Care Services accept no responsibility:
Where proof of delivery has indicated that a ‘you were out’ card has been left by the Courier/ Royal Mail (or similar) and you have subsequently not made contact or collected the item.
If we have sent an item out to an address that you have provided that was incorrect, we will not refund, exchange or credit your item.
Returning Your Goods
If you choose to return any product(s) to us, you must do so within 14 days of notifying Nordic Care Services of cancellation. You are under a duty to return the product(s) which must be in perfect condition, in the original undamaged packaging with all included literature.
You need to take reasonable care when returning an order to us as you will need to both pay for and be responsible for the return.
Nordic Care Services are not responsible for any loss or damage to returned product(s) in transit. We recommend that you obtain and keep a certificate or proof of posting. If products returned directly by you are lost or damaged in transit, we reserve the right not to refund any amounts attributable to such loss or damage.
If you are returning items please notify us before return. You will be provided with a returns authorisation number. Any product(s) that are returned without a returns authorisation number may take longer to process.
Please include your returns authorisation number, original order number, your address and a contact telephone number within the package of the returned item/s and the reason for returning the product(s) to:

On receipt of the returned goods Nordic Care will reimburse you within 14 days. Any delivery charge will be included in your refund. Please note the delivery charge refund will be to the value of Standard Delivery Cost. Any refunds given by us will be made to the debit/credit card account or PayPal Account (as applicable) provided when you placed your order.
Returned product(s) should be unused, as new and must be in the original undamaged packaging with any enclosed documentation. You must take reasonable care of the product(s) while in your possession and we reserve the right to reduce the value of the refund if returned goods show evidence of use beyond the handling necessary to see whether the goods are as expected.
We collect only the basic personal details required to process your order. We will not release your name, address, email address or any other information about our customers to any outside party. We will not trade, resell, sell, or redistribute information that you provide to us, to any other companies, organisations or individuals.
A standard 12 month guarantee (from the date of delivery) applies to all products with the exception of consumables and disposable and limited life products. Any products we supply to you will be of satisfactory quality when delivered and when used for purposes for which the goods of that type are ordinarily used (in accordance with User Instructions where supplied).
The company will not be liable for any defect in the product(s) arising from fair wear and tear, wilful damage, accident, negligence or use other than that intended. We reserve the right to inspect the product(s) before refund or replacement.
Business To Business Transactions – This is an exclusion clause:
Nordic Care Services Ltd limits its liability in business to business transactions wholly and entirely as the law permits, including the limitation of liability for loss of profits and for any indirect or consequential losses that may be incurred by the purchaser other than Nordic Care Services Ltd.
Nordic Care Services Ltd limits its liability in terms of loss of profit, loss of revenue, repair costs, maintenance costs, removal costs, collection costs, installation costs, works costs, labour, transportation, freight, postage, collection, delivery and any other costs whether directly or indirectly incurred by the wronged party.
Business to Business Restocking Fees
Where an order has been placed by a business and that business or representative thereof wishes to return a product within Nordic Care Services Ltd returns policy, Nordic Care reserves a right in its absolute discretion to charge a 20% restocking fee for the returned product.
The same exceptions of non returnable products remain the same; e.g., where a product is non returnable on hygiene grounds, this product will remain non returnable.
Nordic Care Services Ltd reserves the right to change any part of this agreement without notice and your use of the Website will be deemed as acceptance of this agreement. We advise users to regularly check the Terms and Conditions of this agreement. Nordic Care Services Ltd has complete discretion to modify or remove any part of this site without warning or liability arising from such action.
Limitation of Liability
Nordic Care Services Ltd will under no circumstance be liable for indirect, special, or consequential damages including any loss of business, revenue, profits, or data in relation to your use of the Website. To the extent not prohibited by law, in no event shall Nordic Care Services Ltd. be liable for personal injury, or any incidental, special, indirect or consequential damages whatsoever, arising out of (or related to) the use of Nordiccare.co.uk, the negligence of Nordic Care Services Ltd., it’s employees, agents or products supplied, however caused, regardless of the theory of liability (contract,tort or otherwise) and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages, some jurisdictions do not allow the limitation of liability for personal injury, or of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation may not apply to you. We are not responsible to you if we are unable to provide our services for any reason beyond our control.
All intellectual property of Nordic Care Services Ltd such as trademarks, trade names, patents, registered designs and any other automatic intellectual property rights derived from the aesthetics or functionality of the Website remain the property of Nordic Care Services Ltd.
By using the Website you agree to respect the intellectual property rights of Nordic Care Services Ltd and will refrain from copying, downloading, transmitting, reproducing, printing, or exploiting for commercial purpose any material contained within the Website.
The information is provided on the understanding that the website is not engaged in rendering advice and should not be wholly relied upon when making any related decision. The information contained within the Website is provided on an “as is” basis with no warranties expressed or otherwise implied relating to the accuracy, fitness for purpose, compatibility or security of any components of the Website.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement will be governed by the laws of England & Wales and any user of the website hereby agrees to be bound exclusively by the jurisdiction of English & Welsh courts without reference to rules governing choice of laws.
Acceptance Of Terms
If you object to any of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement you should not use any of the products or services on the Website and leave immediately. By placing an order through the Website, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale in their entirety.
You agree that you shall not use the Website for illegal purposes, and will respect all applicable laws and regulations. You agree not to use the website in a way that may impair the performance, corrupt the content or otherwise reduce the overall functionality of the Website. You also agree not to compromise the security of the Website or attempt to gain access to secured areas or sensitive information.
You agree to be fully responsible for any claim, expense, liability, losses, costs including legal fees incurred by us arising from any infringement of the terms and conditions set out in this agreement
